Think what you want about fast food, a lot of people eat it. Some of them may not have any better options. Some of them may not know any better. And some of them may actually enjoy it. Regardless, fast food is generally considered bad for you and may even just be bad in general.
Here are the eight worst fast food restaurants, as ranked by Consumer Reports.
No. 8 – Dominos
Historically a pizza place that offered a 30-minute guarantee, Dominos has expanded to include salads, wings, breadsticks and dessert items. Branching out has not improved its options, apparently. The chain scored low on quality, value, speed, and cleanliness.
And it wasn’t the only pizza chain on the list.
No. 7 – Pizza Hut
Just trailing Dominos is competitor Pizza Hut. This YUM! Brands franchise is ubiquitous, featuring more than 6,000 locations that offer lunch buffets, salad bars and novelty items like the P’Zone (RIP). But the Hut’s expansive reach didn’t help its score any.
Buffets, you say?
No. 6 – CiCi’s Pizza
The all-the-pizza-you-can-eat model doesn’t appear to be helping anyone, based on CiCi’s Pizza scoring even worse. Indulging is great, but apparently, quantity is not greater than quality to everyone.
Anyone in the mood for a burger?
No. 5 – Burger King
If you are in the mood for a burger, maybe avoid Burger King. It’s the second-lowest ranked fast food burger joint around. It lost points for quality, freshness, and value. Maybe it’s time to hand over that crown.
But if BK is the second-worst…
